Jalapeno Cornbread 

Prep Time: 10 minutes Cooking Time: 20-30 minutes Serves: 9

Jalapeno Cornbread

Ingredients:

  • 1C Organic Flour

  • 1C Yellow Cornmeal

  • 2/3C Sugar

  • 1tsp Salt

  • 1TBS Baking Powder

  • 1 Egg

  • 1C Milk - I use unsweetened almond milk, but any kind of milk works great.

  • 1/2 stick of Butter - melted

  • 4 diced Jalapenos

Directions:

  • Preheat oven to 400.

  • In a medium bowl, combine dry ingredients.

  • In a large bowl, combine wet ingredients.

  • Slowly mix the dry into the wet mixture.

  • Add in diced jalapenos.

  • Spray a square pan with cooking spray and pour the mixture into the pan.

  • Bake for 20-30 minutes.
